Lvlon is a machinery manufacturer in Henan, China, building the water drop wood hammer mill for pellet plants, briquette plants, fertilizer and feed producers and wood processors across Asia, Africa and Latin America. As the factory, we supply wholesalers, bulk buyers, distributors and agents directly-no middle layer. In-house fabrication of every stage. One supplier, one warranty. OEM/ODM on screen and configuration, with your brand or specification. Spare parts stocked and air-freighted in 5–15 days.
The Shape That Changed Grinding
The chamber shape is the machine's name and its advantage. A round chamber lets material pile in dead corners. The water drop shape guides material toward the hammers-smoother flow, more complete grinding, less clogging. It is the difference between this series and the general FSP round-chamber hammer mills.
Three Technologies, Three Numbers
Twice strike, +20%. The chamber floor carries a V-shaped slot. Material hit by the hammers rebounds off the slot back into the hammer path-two strikes per cycle instead of one. Combined with 87 m/s hammer tip speed, capacity rises about 20% over single-strike designs. Fibrous material that used to survive one hit gets finished by the second.
Free size switch, near-zero downtime. Traditional hammer mills change output size by swapping screens-a 30-minute teardown every time. The ZW series adjusts hammer length against the screen gap: longer hammers for fine crushing, shorter for coarse-coarse and fine switching without opening the machine. Change material, keep the screen.
5.5 kWh per tonne. Energy is the grinding cost. The efficient design-twice strike, water drop chamber-delivers more qualified fines per kilowatt-hour, down to 5.5 kWh/t. For cost-sensitive production, the number matters on the power bill.
The ZW Range
| Model | Capacity | Rotor dia. | Hammers | Power | Air volume |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZW36A | 0.8–1 t/h | 560 mm | 48 | 22 kW | 24 m³/min |
| ZW40A | 1–1.5 t/h | 560 mm | 56 | 37 kW | 45 m³/min |
| ZW60B | 1.5–2.5 t/h | 660 mm | 112 | 55/75 kW | 55 m³/min |
| ZW80B | 2.5–3.5 t/h | 660 mm | 128 | 90/110 kW | 78 m³/min |
| ZW100B | 3.5–4.5 t/h | 660 mm | 144 | 110/132 kW | 100 m³/min |
| ZW120B | 4.5–5.5 t/h | 660 mm | 156 | 132/160 kW | 130 m³/min |
Output size 1.5–10 millimeters by screen aperture; pellet mill feed requires under 6 millimeters. The machine is in service on a 1.5 T/H palm waste pellet plant-the same feed spectrum it is built for.
FAQ
Q: Water drop hammer mill or standard hammer mill (FSP)?
Chamber shape and technology. FSP series: round chamber, general-purpose hammering. This ZW series: water drop chamber-smoother flow, less clogging; V-shaped twice-strike slot-capacity up 20%; free size switch-adjust hammer length, no screen teardown; 5.5 kWh/t efficiency. The upgraded version of the same class.
Q: How do I adjust output size?
Two controls. Screen aperture sets the upper limit (1.5–10 millimeters). Hammer length sets the hammer-to-screen gap-longer hammers, finer output; shorter hammers, coarser-coarse and fine switching without changing screens.
Q: Is the 5.5 kWh/t figure real?
International energy-saving design-the twice-strike slot and water drop chamber produce more qualified fines per kilowatt-hour. Actual consumption varies with feedstock and fineness; calculate against your material.
