The Machine That Eats Nails
Every wood shredder has the same warning: remove the metal before feeding. A single nail costs a knife edge; a bolt costs a rotor. So wood recyclers pay workers to pull nails-hour after hour-or accept the damage.
The comprehensive wood crusher was designed the other way around: metal in the feed is part of the job. The 4th-generation rotor and the alloy knives cut wood and embedded metal together. Rebar up to Φ10 millimeters and steel plate up to δ3 millimeters break down with the wood. Formwork, containers and pallets go in whole, nails and all. The manual pre-sorting step disappears-the labor cost of pulling nails disappears with it.
The metal limits are real and published: rebar above 10 millimeters, plate above 3 millimeters, solid steel members-none of these feed the machine. The design cuts thin embedded metal; it does not crush steel stock.
The Magnet That Closes the Loop
Crushing wood with nails produces wood chips with nails in them. That metal must come out before the material reaches downstream equipment-a pellet mill die costs more than the crusher blades it protects.
The discharge is fitted with a powerful permanent magnet separator. Iron fragments-nail heads, wire pieces, rebar ends-are pulled from the material flow as it exits. The separator is permanent magnet technology: no power consumption, no electromagnet coils, no controls. It works every minute the machine works, and it removes the iron that would otherwise destroy grinders, dies and conveyors further down the line. Eating metal on the way in, removing metal on the way out-the loop is closed.
Motor or Diesel
The crusher is offered with two drive options. The electric motor version is the standard plant configuration-clean, efficient, connected to the plant grid. The diesel engine version runs anywhere: remote construction sites, outdoor yards, mobile crushing operations where three-phase power does not exist. Same crusher, same throughput, engine-driven. For contractors processing formwork at the demolition site itself, the diesel version turns the crusher into a mobile recycling unit.

Q: Why does this crusher not need nail removal while others do?
The rotor and knife alloy are engineered for metal-bearing feed-the knives cut wood and embedded metal together up to the published limits (rebar ≤10 mm, plate ≤3 mm). Above those limits-heavy rebar, thick plate, solid steel members-the feed must be sorted out or the machine is damaged.
Q: Is there still metal in the output?
The discharge magnet removes it. A powerful permanent magnet separator pulls iron from the material flow with no power consumption. Clean material exits to downstream equipment. Clear the magnet's collected iron on schedule.
Q: There is no electricity at the site.
Order the diesel engine version-the engine drives the crusher directly. Remote sites, outdoor yards and mobile operations run without grid power. Choose motor or diesel to match the site.
