Nine Models, One Simple Principle
The flat die machine works on the simplest pelletizing principle: a rotating roller assembly presses feed through a stationary flat die. Feed drops into the chamber by gravity, the rollers roll over the die, friction forces the material through the die holes, and the rotating cutter trims the extruded strands to length. Fewer moving parts than a ring die mill, lower failure rate, simpler maintenance-the reason flat die machines dominate the small-scale market.

The PLM120 runs on single-phase 220V-a household socket is enough. That is the entry machine for home heating pellets, BBQ fuel and cat litter. The range scales continuously to the PLM700, an industrial unit at 1,800 kg/h.
Three Features That Cut Running Costs
Double-sided die. The flat die works on both faces. Wear one side, flip the die, keep going-die life doubles. The die is the main consumable; the flip is the equivalent of a buy-one-get-one on the most expensive part.
Quick-disassembly clamp. The precision-cast die clamp releases in minutes. Change rollers and dies without long teardown-switch pellet size (6/8/10/12 mm) or switch material without losing a shift.
Screw-center gap adjustment. Roller-to-die clearance is set by a screw-center structure. Gap too large, the rollers slip and nothing forms; too small, wear accelerates. Different materials-sawdust, rice husk, corn stover-want different gaps. The screw adjustment matches the machine to the material in minutes.
One Machine, Two Businesses
The same flat die press produces two product lines. Fuel pellets from biomass waste-corn stover, sawdust, rice husk, bagasse, cotton stalk, weeds-for heating, cooking and BBQ. Fertilizer pellets from low-binding materials-bio-fertilizer, organic and compound fertilizers-a capability that ring die mills struggle with because fertilizer plugs their dies. A farmer or workshop operator chooses the direction by market price: fuel in winter, fertilizer in spring.
The machine also makes animal bedding pellets-wood-based, absorbing up to four times their own weight in moisture and ammonia, keeping poultry houses clean. Three applications, one machine.
Feed Requirements
The mill demands prepared feed: particle size under 6 millimeters, moisture 12–20%, and no metal or stone. Feed outside these limits produces loose pellets and fast die wear. Preparation-crushing, drying, cleaning-is the operator's side of the deal.
