Lvlon is a machinery manufacturer in Henan, China, producing the tree stump crusher for wood flour mills, biomass power plants, waste wood recyclers and forestry contractors across Asia, Africa and Latin America. As the factory, we supply wholesalers, bulk buyers, distributors and agents directly-no middle layer. In-house steel fabrication, disc assembly and knife manufacturing. OEM/ODM on model size, feed configuration and drive type, with your brand or specification. Spare parts stocked and air-freighted in 5–15 days.
The Material Nobody Else Wants
Tree stumps are the worst feed in wood processing. They are irregular-roots spread in every direction. They carry soil and stones from the ground they were pulled out of. Their fibers interlace and twist. A chipper cannot bite them. A shredder stalls on them. So stumps end up in a pile, taking space, going nowhere.
The tree stump crusher was built for exactly this material. A rotary disc crusher on the machine body swings high-strength rotor knives-steel with the toughness to chew through root fiber and the grit that comes with it. Old building formwork, coarse branches, large-diameter logs, scrap furniture: the crusher treats them all as feed, not as problems. This is the pre-processing step before wood flour production and biomass recovery-the step that turns a disposal cost into feedstock.
Anti-Jam by Design, Not by Reaction
Stumps jam hoppers. They wedge, bridge and arch over the opening. The traditional answer is an operator with a pry bar-dangerous, slow, and it stops production anyway.
This machine prevents the jam before it happens. Paddle teeth inside the hopper keep the material turning and moving toward the crusher. A wing-type assist mechanism presses the feed down from above. Variable-frequency drive reads the crusher load and adjusts feed speed automatically: heavy load, slower feed; light load, faster feed. Three systems working together mean the machine keeps running through material that would stop a conventional crusher in the first minute.
Mobile: The Crusher Goes to the Pile
Stumps are where the trees were-forests, demolition sites, roadsides, orchards. Carting them to a fixed station costs more than the material is worth.
The machine is self-moving: the crusher travels to the pile, processes as it advances, and discharges the crushed material continuously in the direction of travel. The site is cleared as the machine moves through it-no haulage, no double handling. Four models from 3000 to 7000 cover the throughput range; full technical specifications are quoted against your actual duty, since this class of machine is configured per order.
Fully Automatic, Fully Safe
The electric control system runs feed, crushing and discharge as one linked process. The operator supervises instead of feeding by hand-no one stands over the hopper with a tool. Labor cost drops, and the most dangerous job in stump processing disappears. The rotor knives are built for long life with simple maintenance, and the hydraulic, electric and discharge systems are all standard service points.
FAQ
Q: Tree stump crusher or wood chipper?
A chipper processes regular logs and branches-stumps are irregular, soil-caked and fiber-tangled, and they damage chipper knives. The tree stump crusher uses rotary disc crushing with assisted feeding for exactly this material: stumps, roots, old formwork, large-diameter logs. It is the pre-processing machine before wood flour and biomass recovery.
Q: What happens if it jams?
The three-system anti-jam design-VFD load response, paddle teeth and the wing-type assist feed-prevents most jams before they start. If a jam does occur, let the electric system respond (slowdown or reverse) and stop to clear it safely. Never reach into the hopper.
Q: Is it fixed or mobile?
Mobile. The machine travels to the worksite and processes while moving. Suited to forest, demolition and roadside sites. Fixed installation can be arranged for plant use.
