The Tractor Is the Power Plant
A PTO pellet mill carries nothing but the press. No electric motor, no diesel engine, no wiring. The tractor's power take-off shaft drives the die plate and rollers through a drive shaft at the tractor's fixed speed. For a farm that already owns a tractor-and nearly every farm does-this is the least expensive way into pelletizing: the investment is the machine alone, not a machine plus a power source.

Model selection is a tractor-matching exercise: the pellet mill must be matched to the horsepower the tractor can deliver. Too little power, the die stalls; too much, fuel is wasted. Eight models cover tractors from 6 to 70 horsepower.
The Fixed-Speed Trade
The PTO drive has no variable-speed control-the die turns at whatever speed the tractor's PTO delivers. That simplicity is the machine's strength: no transmission to break, no speed controller to adjust. It is also the operator's discipline: feed rate must be steady, because there is no automatic slowdown when the load climbs. Uniform feeding keeps pellet quality stable and the press safe.
A Machine That Follows the Tractor
The mill is compact, light and built to move. Hitched behind the tractor, it goes where the material is: field edges, orchards, remote lots with no power supply. Sawdust, wood residues, crop stalks, weeds-all pelletized on site, no hauling material back to a fixed workshop. The output is fuel for stoves and boilers, or animal bedding-the farm's own energy from its own waste.
FAQ
Q: PTO, electric or diesel-which version?
Your power assets decide. Own a tractor: PTO (KL series)-lowest price because there is no power source to buy, and the mill follows the tractor to the field. Have grid power: electric (PLM series)-cheapest per kilogram, indoor use. No power, no tractor: diesel (PLMD series)-self-contained engine.
Q: What tractor power do I need?
Match the model: KL120P needs 6–10 hp from a small tractor; KL400P needs 50–70 hp from a large one. Choose by the actual horsepower your tractor delivers.
Q: How do I control the feed?
Steadily. The PTO drive runs at fixed speed with no variable control-uneven feeding causes pellet quality fluctuation or overload. Uniform feeding is the operator's main job.
