We wanted to fire up front-line employees' passion for new tech and skill improvement. So Henan Lvlon Industrial Co., Ltd. just wrapped up its first production line skills competition smoothly, running from May 18 to 20, 2025. The theme was "Champion Craftsmanship Spirit, Build Top-Notch Agricultural Machinery", with four main events: welding, assembly, electrical debugging, and quality inspection. 56 standout employees from different workshops signed up, all going all out for the top spots.

At the opening ceremony, company GM Wang Qiang gave a lively speech. He said, "Skilled talents are manufacturing firms' most precious asset, and the key to steady product quality." He added this competition is a great move-it builds a culture of respecting skills and valuing talents, giving employees a chance to show off their skills, swap tricks, and spark new ideas.
The welding competition was easily the highlight. Contestants had to weld the ring die-a crucial part of the feed pellet machine-within the given time. Expert judges scored comprehensively, checking weld appearance, internal quality, and dimensional accuracy. In the end, 25-year welding vet Zhang Wang took the championship with nearly flawless welds and steady performance. He's welded over 5,000 ring dies by hand, no quality issues at all-truly embodying the craftsmanship spirit of chasing perfection.
The assembly competition tested both proficiency and teamwork. Contestants needed to fully assemble a hay cutter as fast as possible. A young team of three post-90s stepped up, showing amazing skills and great teamwork. They finished in just 1 hour 58 minutes-breaking the company record and cutting standard time by 30%! It just proves how quickly the company's young employees are growing.
The quality inspection competition had its own challenges. The organizing committee set hidden "quality traps" beforehand, and contestants had just 20 minutes to spot all defects. Li Mei from Quality Control rose to the task-with rich experience and sharp eyes, she found all 10 defects spot-on, winning the championship outright.
After three intense days, the winners were named: 4 "Technical Champions", 8 "Technical Experts", and 12 "Outstanding Contestants". The company held an award ceremony, giving out certificates and nice bonuses-each champion got 50,000 yuan! Winners also get priority in annual evaluations and title promotions, fostering a vibe where "skill and excellence pay off".
Production Director Ma Jun was interviewed post-competition. He said, "We unearthed great skilled talents on the front line, and watched our young employees mature fast-it's a solid talent foundation for our development." He added the competition will be annual, with more investment in skill training and a standardized training base set to open this year, supporting employees' skill growth and careers.
All in all, this competition was a huge success. It boosted employees' enthusiasm for learning skills and trying innovations, strengthening the company's craftsmanship culture. With better talent training and incentives, Henan Lvlon will keep contributing to agricultural machinery development with finer technology and better products.
