Corn Silage Chopper

After the motor of the corn silage chopper starts the straw conveying part, the power is transmitted to the feeding and crushing mechanism and the straw conveying part through belt drive and chain drive. The whole plant of silage corn is spread flat on the conveyor chain. Driven by the conveyor chain, it moves forward and is conveyed to the feeding and crushing mechanism. The corn stalks and ears are fed and flattened and then sent to the upper part of the fixed knife of the crushing drum device. Under the cooperation of the fixed knife and the moving knife, the corn stalks are crushed and compressed. The crushed materials are thrown by the baffle of the moving knife fixture and finally thrown out.

• Feeding and crushing mechanism: The grass crusher requires the feeding and crushing mechanism to meet the requirements of large feeding volume, good continuity, high speed, stable feeding, low loss rate and flat conveying. A feeding roller group with chain drive as the main transmission mode was designed. It has a large transmission torque, is not easy to slip, has high reliability, and can ensure the continuity of the fed materials.
• Crushing drum: The combination of hob type and slash-knife type of cutting is used to ensure the uniform cutting of silage corn stalk and fruit ear, so as to ensure that the corn stalk and grass cutte by the pulverizer machine are easy to be digested and absorbed by livestock.

The feeding crushing device compacts the whole silage corn plant neatly and pushes it between the fixed knife and the moving knife. Under the rotational movement of the drum, the moving knife works in coordination with the fixed knife to cut the material at a certain linear speed. Meanwhile, the squeezing effect of the moving knife and the clamping plate on the moving knife on the material produces a certain crushing effect.

After the action of the moving knife, the moving knife cuts this section of material and pushes it along the arc direction of the drum's rotation. At the same time, the material remaining on the lower arc surface of the drum is collected. Under the action of the movement inertia and the moving knife plate fixture, the material is thrown out of the material outlet of the straw crusher.
